Woot! I beat it!

And to prove I beat it, I will now note that there is currently a missing letter in a 3 letter word within parentheses on the "You Win" screen!

And yes, the last level was evil -_- BUT FUN!

Took 2 nights, probably 4-6 hours total, very nice!

I were skilled from this, so it wasn't any problem for me.

Sorry, but I like oreginal more, it runs fluently on my older (300MHz, Win98) computer, flash-based apps do not.
16. level (one with dots in one line) is easier than five before it. And it learned me how to handle such much connections. I've completed game (all levels) in less than 2hours (1/4 was wasted with slow flashplayer rendering).
I have been solving one game of oreginal untangle with 1000 dots more than 8 hours. That I call harder. But It would not be playabe with that slow flash technology.

It was hard and great, when I realize, that it is written in flash and what are flash games limitations.
And It is a good way to make people playing that. It would be far less succesfull, if it was a Win32 binary file (.exe).

I hope I won't need to solve old levels when new are added.

O.K. Ive got flashplayer version 9... I can see the first screen and like ALOT of people I still have no clue how to drag the dot. I see the arrow and the little circle moving. Nothing I try to drag seems to move at all... I originally found this game on Ebaums and after reading the comments would really like to try it out. Ive seen at least 50 comments from people who seem to have the same problem as me. If anyone has any advice other than "read the how to play" (all it says is Install flash player 9 and dont let lines overlap) I would more than appreciate it :D

Hope the game was as fun to play as it was to make....."
The key is to make one HUGE triangle and then make smaller triangles within the HUGE one, starting by making one triangle on 2 of the sides of the HUGE triangle.
This game is very similar to "Planarity" which I played 2 years ago, but this is a bit harder.

Nice. Puzzle games are the best. I really like the implementation of the "bold" line when there is still an intersection--some of the lines touch so closely, there is no other way to see that they are there. Good job!

this game is to relax the mind, to get those negative thoughts out and relaxness in. may be hard but like yoga, makes you do well at school/work and relax. when i first played it, i was bad mood because of a bad day. at level 3, i was relaxed! and i payed attention to colage instead of making paper airplanes! then, my life changed because i went to a good job, then had a permament vacacion in hawaii! i like this game! thanks chris for a hard, but relaxing game!

Hi Chris. I like your unangle. Even the evil was fun. Here are my 4 nice-to-have's to improve the game:
- When level is finished don't hide it but allow player to continue and to reorganize the figure.
- Allow for resizing the window (space is often needed).
- Allow multi-select more points and move them at a time
- Very nice would be to support a "circle inversion" to turn the figure insight out. E.g. if I have a big triangle and a small square inside then do a bing square of it with a small triangle inside. (function 1/x in complex plain). Why? Because in higher levels you allways end up with a triangle an you must push everything inside it, while your display is rectangular.
Anyway thanks. It was fun. I like to untie knots. :-)

The game makes me go through some definite bipolarity. I hate the game-- up until I finish a level, then I promptly adore the game. This lasts very briefly, because that snaps to hatred when I see the next level.

try spreading all the dots in the shape of a circle so that u have lots of space in the center. then try grouping 'connecting' dots closer together. keep doing that and u will soon start to see long lines forming from all the streching and grouping. the longest lines belong on the outside. if u notice other lines getting longer, then those r the ones that make up the outside border. most of the time there is only three dots that belong on the outside. good luck!

Amazing how such complex tangles often unravel before my very eyes even though my actions aren't organized by any strategy. I just do random stuff and each step, I try to reduce the number of bright white lines, and voila! Problem solved before I know it.

Daing, that took long.

Finaly beat it. And it took about 2 hours of boredome and patience.

My stratigy was to make big circles and then work from there for the much harder ones.
