I think the site does need some form of moderation, whether that's moderators, or user moderation. In all reality the staff has much more importent things to do then to keep the chat, and forums clean.

I think we need mods badly. Evil unicorns are literally taking over the site at an alarming speed. My sources tell me that they have been planning a swift and brutal takeover for years, and its finally going to happen in the next few weeks. Thousands of angry unicorns will descend down the mountains and stomp on our faces with their hooves. Their hooves are huge, I don't think you realize what kind of hooves we're dealing with. Regardless, I honestly think that I am the only person with the power to stop the unicorns from taking over the site. Make me mod and I promise that all your wildest dreams will come true.

Blog, I have seen the bad stuff before and it isn't all that great to try to chat with that going on. Just like a volcano and no one is able to chat reasonably when they do TAKE OVER The rest of you will see and I agree with keeping it clean.

I think it would be much easier to let Everyone have the right to block a user, if you don't like someone block them, then the issue is over. I also do agree that there should be appointed people to look over the chatrooms for spam, and be able to block a username that is only made to produce spam, like the names specified in the first post.
There are my two cents. :)
