2v2 Tournament!

Mefuzzy, I agree with LightBeam. It doesn't bother me, as it's relatively easy to decide who starts the room, then who joins first to be on the opposite team, then who joins second to be on the same team, and third to be on the opposite again. But if it were possible to choose, that would definitely make things easier.

...On the same lines, I'd also rather like to be able to choose a starting position in the normal 1v1v1v1 games. For some reason, I dislike being the brighter shade of green.

Okay, we have 8 teams now, meaning we can start the tournament.

We won't, however, as we're going to wait for hbala's to finish first. Shouldn't be too long. It will also give anyone else who wants to join a chance to do so, because although we can play with 8, I'd like more.

sweet, 10 teams. the way the tourney works will depend on the number we have. if we get to 16 (unlikely, but i'm remaining optimistic) we'll have 4 groups of 4 teams, and each group will play everyone else in their group once (possibly twice, i'm undecided) and the 2 from each group will move up.

If there are 12 we'll do the same with just 3 groups.

10 is a strange number, so i'm not totally sure what we'll do. Possibly 2 groups of 5. At least we're not on eleven :D

Ellsming its better to do 4 groups if we have 12 teams, that way you can have 8 players in the next round :). Each group would have 3 teams and the top 2 advance. It's up to you anyways, just an idea.

Aha ask people Turtl3. I'm sure someone will be with you.

Ellsming why don't you just pair up the people who don't have a partner randomly.
