Usability and efficiency updates to the multiplayer games

Posted a long time ago by Chris

We just made a small update to our Multiuser platform. Everything from the chat to the lobby and games should connect quite a lot faster. Additionally a warning is now shown when the games are unable to return to the lobby on 3rd party websites.

Enjoy!

New Forums!

Posted a long time ago by Henrik

Today we made a release with our new forums that we've been working on. We think they look a lot prettier than before, but most important are the new features that we've built.

The first thing you probably noticed is that we now keep track of unread forum threads and unread posts in them, which makes it a lot easier to see what's new and hot, and which threads people might have replied to you in.

You still have a list of Favorite threads, but we now show that list exactly like in the forums, so you get them sorted by date and you can easily see if you have any unread posts in the threads you are following.

A lot of people have asked for the ability to edit posts after they've been posted, so we of course added that feature, and we're also keeping all the old features like rating posts.

The coolest new feature though is the markup we added. Previously you could only do simple formatting of the text, but we've now added support for headings, nested markers, and code snippets. That last feature should be really helpful in the Developer Forums. To see what you can do, check out the Forum Markup Help page.

As usual, if you have any suggestions or feedback on the new forums just post it in the Feedback section, or simply start a discussion in the new forums themselves

Hey everyone,

We recently appointed two new moderators for this site that are going to help us keeping it nice and clean. We're happy to have AmiAthena and the internet on board, we hope they'll make this site even better than it is, just remember to be nice to them!

Get your games for free through TrialPay

Posted a long time ago by Henrik

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to let you know that we have now partnered up with TrialPay to offer you an alternative way for paying for games and coins at Nonoba.

When you wish to purchase something, you can now select TrialPay as your payment provider, and get your item for free by completing one of their available offers! What offers are available depends on which region you are in, but we hope that there will be something for everyone to try or buy so that you can get your coins for free and support your favorite game developeres.

We are still hard at work adding even more ways to pay, and we hope to have SMS payments and another credit card provider available soon.

ActionScript 2 Payment API avaliable

Posted a long time ago by Oliver

Hi,

We've just finished the implementation of Nonoba Payment for ActionScript 2. In fact, it's already online and ready for download and usage.

If you've been wanting to try out payment, but was holding back because of the missing AS2 version, now is the time to get started!

We're still working on adding more payment providers, but can already now announce that we'll be adding SMS based payment and survey and promotion based payment in the near future.

We stand firm on our promise and goal to always have one viable payment provider for every user, no matter age and location, playing your game.

Nonoba.
