Nice game. The "waiting for player to be ready" thing stays on the screen even when you have started. Also the only thing I did was, I got close to my opponent and make them hit my tail. I never collected any apples and still won every time.

Nice game it be better if the game went up to 4 players at one time and when you lose the game then someone else in the room should have a turn.
When there is 3+ players there should be two fruits at one time.
A new fruit with differnent effects such as
Move slower
Become smaller
become invisible
change color to other player (Use to confuse that player)
Have two heads (one at the front one at the bottom of the tail)
Power to eat other peoples tails (make there tail smaller without losing a life)

You can add some sounds and an achievement.
And if a snake eat 10 apples he can score a point.
Add a background too and others fruits with differents effects.
And 4 players games... or more!
After that it will be the best game of nonoba

i think you should make a survive mode were everyone gets food and grows up to 8 players and if you crash into someone you die and are out and if 2 people hit into each other there both out

if the 1st and 2nd player colide, both at the head of the other, the (i cant remember if its the 1st or 2nd player, but i do remember its constant) player always wins or its a tie.

ninjakurtis, I'm not sure what's causing the lag. It doesn't happen to me, and nobody else seemed to be complaining about it.

I did happen into lag once, but noticed that I was running a torrent downloader as I was playing.

Are you sure you aren't running something network-heavy, while playing the game?

Its a tad easy to win by just eating two apples and then rotating around yourself. I suggest you win if you get to 10 apples or something.

Great game.. few comments/questions
A) How hard is it to make an 8 player game and if it's possible when can we play it?
B) It is maybe around a half-second unresponsive from when you press it and while you can get the hang of it you end up losing the first few you play
C) GOOD GAME!

Hmmm. pretty good!
It's a bit annoying when people just spin in a circle forever. I know you can beat them by collecting 10 apples, but that takes a while. Could you either reduce the target or make the worms grow slowly?
It's probably best that they don't start off long enough to eat their own tail as it gives newbies a chance to get to grips. But people doing it permanently is annoying.

I've experimented a lot with the snake growth, and this seems to be the best setup. So reducing the amount of apples to win is probably the best solution. Thanks for the comment and suggestion.

- There is still an occasionnal lag but huge (especially in 3-4 players parties)
-When you win by eating 10 apples, the point is not added to the score of the game
- I propose a new points system more equitable for parties of more than 2 players: for a party of 4 players: the latest gains nothing, the 3rd 1 point, 2nd 2 points and 1st 3 points (for example) . It could be a new ranking list.

Although I love the game, the biggest problem is the massive lag spikes, you're moving, moving, and then suddenly the screen freezes for five seconds and no key input is recorded at all.

Even this wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't anyone who used the eat-no-apples-hold-down-left-or-right-arrow-key-and-never-let-go strategy.

That strategy pratically forces you to eat all 10 apples to win, and since that'll require at the least semi-precise movements, if a lag spike hits you're doomed, while the other player doesn't have to worry because he just holds down one arrow key the whole freakin' time.
