It would be awesome if you could clearly see which stars where yours. Like a line from the mouse to your stars or something.

This is really addicting, but I'm having trouble with my star hitting the same thing two or three times in a row and being instantly put out. Would giving the star a brief invulnerability blinker for a half second after being hit make the game too easy?
